Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let us deal with the subject of races.
Key
Rarities
Rarities go by level, so if a race is 1 '*', then citizens level 1 and up may choose to make one of this race, and if a race is 3 '*', then again citizens level 3 and up may choose to make that race. This just ensures that the rarer races don't become too common throughout the site.
Supernatural Lifeform
A race that is spirit based and has not evolved from a earthly race. These races are normally hard to kill by conventional means and can be vulnerable to holy/unholy items.
All Supernatural Lifeforms are immortal and when one kills a Supernatural Lifeform that Supernatural Lifeform will rebirth. When a Supernatural Lifeform rebirths their body breaks down into particles of energy which reforms in a random place, naked and fully healed. Rebirth is a painful process and is draining to a Supernatural Lifeform. Rebirthing takes a few hours. If you get bored of your character and want your character to die off then just simply have your Supernatural Lifeform return to the afterlife during rebirth.
Note that Supernatural Lifeforms are Spirits. They have no form. The appearance you pick is merely a avatar. Rebirthing represents that 'damaging' or 'killing' a Spirit being involves breaking it's ties with the material Universe.
Abhumans
A race that has evolved from the human race over thousands of years. These races are not undead or spirit based but sometimes have a better connection to the super natural realms then most humans.
Abhumans are a lot stronger psychically then most standard humans and Supernatural Lifeforms.
Ancients are not abhumans but follow this rule.

Races
Supernatural Lifeform: Angels (Rarity *)
Now angels come in two types. Standard angels and dark angels. Standard angels are God worshiping, do-gooders. Christians. Now Dark Angels are angels with the Mark which is a mark of shame placed upon a angel for a crime they have committed. This means black wings and lack of halo if the angel had a halo to start with that is. Now the first type of Dark Angel is a Fallen Angel. This is a angel of Satan. Sometimes these angels start off as rotten eggs, sometimes they turn to the Beast. Then we have Angels of Death. These angels are also known as Death Angels or Reapers. These angels follow the teachings of Death and reap the souls of the dead and bring them to purgatory for judgement. And finally we have Dark Angels that committed a crime or were not followers of God and have turned back to God and are now trying to repent themselves.
A angel may have been another race other then human. This angel may have lost his/her previous needs or abilities or may have kept them. Though werewolf angels will take up a extra slot on their powers list to account for the werewolf transformation. This also applies for any other creature transformation type thing.
Angels are sterile. They may also have wings without taking up a power slot
They can permanently be wounded via Satanic ritual in the case of all Angels sans Fallen Angels which can only be permanently wounded via holy ritual. Certain weapons can also permanently damage Angels but these are something we at BC are careful not to use too often.
Angels with halos can choose to hide their halo.
Abhuman: Lycan (Rarity *)
These are basically someone that turns into a were beast animal under the light of a full moon, though they can also change under normal conditions at their will. They are vulnerable to silver. Some lycans remain in beast form from birth but this does no happen very often.
Abhuman: Vampire (Rarity *)
These creatures of the night are known for their weakness to the sun which will kill them if their exposed directly to it for too long and their need for blood. Vampires that don't drink blood die slowly and painfully. That simple. Vampires need to drink blood because they cannot produce enough blood components of their own to survive for a prolonged period of time.
Vampires can only be killed by removing the head or the heart. They have mild regeneration to deal with loss of vital parts but cannot regenerate limbs, permanent skin damage and the such. Only organs and the spine.
Vampires can choose to turn a non vampire, virgin or person of the opposite sex into a vampire too via blood sucking through a bite. This can only be done via the permission from the player that owns the character getting bit.
Vampires do like small, dark places when it comes to sleep and coffins are logically ideal for vampires to sleep in as they are perfectly shaped for their body to fit in. That is why vampires sometimes like to sleep in coffins in Blood City.
Some powerful vampires also are known to feed off entire victims and corpses to fuel their bodies more efficiently. Such practises are looked down on by many, but some vampires are allowed to resort to flesh eating and extreme blood lust to better carry out their jobs.
Supernatural Lifeform: Golems (Rarity ******)
This is a race that covers all lifeforms that bear bodies assembled from different body parts and are still alive. They are essentially souls bound to Earth that take bodies as vessels. As long as their host body is alive it works. Often they take one body made from several different parts, but if their body is destroyed then they have to find a new one. A Golem without a flesh body is much like a totally invisible ghost that has cannot communicate with the world around it. Golem characters can also use their power slots for parts from other races to gain some of their abilities. Such as dragon-kin wings or werewolf torsos. Though the effects and abilities of the race would only effect the body part from the race. They can also have powers that increase the resilience of their body parts, meaning they can literally be pulled to bits and still survive. All special abilities and additions use power slots as normal. Golems are often stereotyped as being stupid and clumsy or associated with Frankenstein.
Shape Shifter (Rarity ***)
Any race can be a shape shifter. Each form they take fills up a power slot.
Abhuman: Hybrid (Rarity ******)
A vampire that can turn into a lycan, sacrificing a power slot to do so.
Human (Rarity *)
A human. Need I say more?
Supernatural Lifeform: Demon (Rarity *)
A demon is a creature of the immaterial universe. They come in various forms dictated only by their place of origin. The most common place demons come from is Hell, but some also originate from places like Purgatory, Heaven, the Warrens and such. Their essentially random creatures formed from pure energy, but sometimes can be of existing souls, much like angels sometimes. Please state what the characteristics of your demon are in your profile if you are a demon so that me or a member of staff can look through your demons characteristics and take away power slots accordingly if this is needed.
Supernatural Lifeform: Undead (Rarity **)
Skeletons, zombies and ghosts. These characters are slightly more resilient. Skeletons have a habit of falling apart now and then. Zombies can be slow depending on how decomposed they are. Ghosts have no attacks and cannot have any weapons of equipment but are invulnerable to all types of attacks sans powers. Ghosts can have powers and these are the ghosts only means of attack.
Abhuman: Dragon-kin (Rarity ****)
A humanoid dragon characterized by small scales on cheeks, back and running down the arms and slightly onto the hands, as well as forked tongues and a common occurrence of getting red hair and/or red eye colour. Dragon-kin may have leathery wings or/and fire breath as powers in addition to normal powers. These special abilities use up power slots just like a normal power. Each Dragon-kins background depends on which dragon family they originate from.
Supernatural Lifeform: Ancient(********) Ancients represent all of the 'Lesser Gods' that were created to help build the Universe. They take many forms and have many powers. Some Ancients are worshipped in their own religions and some do not create but guard. There are a fair few Ancients out there, most of them not even on Earth or in the Material Universe for that matter. They are often fuelled by the success of their creations and deeds, as well as the spiritual energy emitted from the astral universe, known by mortals as the Afterlife. Ancients by name are often very old, but sometimes have offspring, which take a thousand years to mature.
If your character is a Ancient you may take two power slots at level 9 and 10 instead of one. So at level 9 you will have 10 power slots and at level 10 you will have 12 power slots. You can only have one Ancient and your Ancient must only be of a lesser part of creation or just be a guardian of sorts. You cannot represent massive things like the element of fire, but you can represent small things like a species of shark. Their background is largely up to you as they have no solid guidelines, though keep it realistic.
Ancients can only be created with the permission of myself to keep numbers of this character type down.
A person who has been Resurrected is different form the undead races even though they are considered "undead" by most. Those who have been resurrected do not bleed, nor do they fall for charms, such as a magical related charms or the ability to be made to love, though they can still fall in love naturally, though it is difficult. Their immune to sickness, curses, poisons and such powers and abilities. To take one down the damage must be done with a weapon against the body.
Resurrected Souls are rather difficult to kill if you are not aware of their weakness. Each resurrected Soul has a unique weakness that is theirs alone and then the common weakness which is a symbol on their back usually it is the name of the one who resurrected them. If the said symbol is damaged in any way then they will die.
Resurrected Souls are very different from other soul based races like Angels and Demons as they have been forced to return to Earth against their will and are bound to the one that resurrected them.
Resurrected Souls can be members of the following races: Human, Vampire, Lycan, Hybird, Dragon-kin. They can be Shape Shifters and cannot be Juggernauts or Ancients which are also spirits bound to reality.
